A Message from YOUR Parent Coordinator Fellow Parents, As some of you may already know, my name is Kibibi Oyo and I am the Parent Coordinator here at Global Studies. I wanted to take a moment and officially welcome you to the new school year. We have had a great start, and I am looking forward to a successful year. I am your direct contact here at Global Studies. You should call me with any questions, concerns, or suggestions regarding your child or the school. My job is to assist you and to make your interaction with the school as comfortable as possible. I am available to arrange conferences and phone calls with our teachers and guidance department. I act as your representative here in the school. Please feel free to ask for anything you may need. I will throughout the year facilitate educational workshops for parents. If there is any specific workshop you would find useful, please let me know. I will also plan monthly family events that you can enjoy with your children and the staff here at Global Studies. My cell phone, provided by the Department of Education, is for your convenience. Most parents work during school hours. This makes it difficult to follow up with teachers. You can call me outside of school hours on this cell phone. I am always available. If email is more convenient for you, I am always online. I check my email several times a day including weekends. I look forward to working together with you, Kibibi Oyo Parent Coordinator, BSGS Office Phone: 718-694-9741 ext. 318 Cell Phone: 347-563-5393 Email: koyo@schools.nyc.gov www.myglobalstudies.com
